Hit The Slopes at Mount Baldy
You haven’t truly experienced winter in the Okanagan until you’ve hit the slopes of one of the many ski resorts that dot the valley. Mount Baldy, a small, family-friendly ski resort, is located just one hour from Osoyoos. The resort doesn’t get the crowds that some of the larger resorts attract, so it is the perfect ski destination for beginner and intermediate skiers and snowboarders looking to spend a day on the slopes.
If skiing and snowboarding aren’t your thing, there are lots of other winter activities to check out at the bottom of the mountain. The resort boasts five kilometres of cross-country ski trails with an additional five kilometres of snowshoeing trails as well.
Have a Spa Day
If you’re looking for a break from the cold this winter, why not treat yourself to a spa day? Osoyoos boasts several local spas with a wide array of options for pampering and restorative treatments that will have you feeling like royalty.
Solterra Desert Spa offers a series of body treatments inspired by the Osoyoos desert, such as sea salt scrubs, sun-dried rose clay application, sage and cedar oil treatment, or a full-body scrub.
