COVID-19 Preparedness & Precautions

Branch Hours effective March 24th, 2020

Our team is taking the health and safety of staff and members as a priority.  Our branch hours are currently Tuesday to Saturday: 10am to 2pm

Update as of March 16th, 2020:

As the situation continues to evolve, we want you to know that OCU is doing everything we can to support you through this difficult time. We can assure you that we’re taking added precautions to keep our members and employees safe. This is our number one priority.

As of today, our branch will remain open, however we will be taking the necessary precautions to keep our staff and members safe and healthy:

  • Appointments with Financial Service Officers will be conducted via phone or electronically until further notice
  • We have reduced the number of tellers available in the branch; please be patient as wait times may be longer
  • We are encouraging members to access services via our ATMs and online with Member Direct online banking
  • Our staff will be available to  assist members in accessing Member Direct online services by telephone, if you need any help please call 250.495.6522

Should any members be negatively impacted and need assistance with their existing loans or credit products, please contact us to discuss. For example, existing loan & mortgage holders may contact us for specialized or individualized options.

We are diligently working on delivering products/services to accommodate member needs at this time. Thank you for your cooperation in working together to keep our community safe and healthy.

As international and domestic news updates on the Coronavirus, COVID-19 continue to be at the top of the news daily, we at Osoyoos Credit Union want you to know that we are following the situation closely and we will continue to evolve with events as they unfold. We are taking precautions to keep staff and membership safe and will monitor developments; our priority is the safety of our employees and ensuring our ability to continue to serve the needs of our members.

Individually, as we are hearing regularly, it is important to take steps to protect yourself including washing your hands frequently with soap and water, covering your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, refrain from touching your face, avoiding others who are unwell, staying home when you are sick, social distancing, and avoiding large crowds.
