Canada Post Mail Service Disruption: Stay Connected To Your Accounts

Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has initiated a national strike, effective, Friday, November 15, 2024; you may experience delays in receiving or sending mail, including your member statements. We encourage members to stay informed and explore alternative options. Please refer to the Service Notice below for information on accessing your accounts in case of a mail service disruption.

Access to Your Accounts

In the event of a potential postal service disruption, there are several ways to stay connected to your account information. If mail delivery is affected, members may not receive financial documents by mail as account statement distribution likely will be delayed until after the strike is over. We encourage you to use the support and electronic services provided by OCU to stay informed and connected.

Government cheques and other mail

Canada Post will continue delivering some government cheques once a month. Visit their website for the most current updates.

If you anticipate receiving mail from other companies you deal with, consider contacting them to arrange for digital delivery of your documents.
